Cancellation Policy

At Courtney Ah Shay Psychology, we understand that life can be unpredictable. To ensure we can offer consistent, high-quality care and make appointments available to those who need them, we have a clear cancellation policy in place. Please see below:

Therapy

  • Please provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel appointments. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

    E.g. If your appointment is 9:00am on Wednesday, cancel before 9:00am on Monday. If you cancel after 9:00am, you will incur the fee.

  • If you cancel within 24-12 hours of your appointment, you will incur a $100 session fee.

    E.g. If your appointment is 9:00am on Wednesday and you cancel before 9:00am on Tuesday but after 9:00am on Monday, you will incur the fee.

  • If you cancel within a 12 hour window, you will be charged the full session fee.

    E.g. If your appointment is 9:00am on Wednesday and you cancel after 9:00pm on Tuesday, you will incur the full fee.

Assessment

  • Please provide at least 7 days notice to cancel appointments. Appointments cancelled within 7 days will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

    E.g. If your appointment is 9:00am on Wednesday, cancel before 9:00am the Wednesday prior. If you cancel after 9:00am, you will incur the fee.

  • If you cancel within 24-12 hours of your appointment, you will incur the full session fee of $200 plus transaction fees.

    E.g. If your appointment is 9:00am on Wednesday and you cancel before 9:00am on Tuesday but after 9:00am on Monday, you will incur the fee.

Payment will be automatically processed using the saved payment information collected prior to the initial appointment.
